Peter holds a M.Sc. degree in Agricultural, Environmental and Applied Economics from the University of Pretoria, South Africa; and a BSc in Agriculture from Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda. Peter has also undertaken international specialized courses in monitoring & evaluation, advanced statistical data analysis, large scale survey planning and execution, micro and macro datasets management and project management. Peter’s core competencies include management and coordination of both national and regional agricultural and development projects, monitoring & evaluation and impact evaluations. Peter is currently doing his PhD in Impact Evaluation at the University of Greenwich, London, UK. In his career, Peter has worked for CABI International for 5 years as Deputy National Coordinator of a World Bank funded regional project (UNEP/GEF-IAS Project) which was implemented in Uganda, Ghana, Zambia and Ethiopia. He later joined the Association for Strengthening Agricultural Research in East and Central Africa (ASARECA) and served for two years as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer covering 11 countries.
