Twenty-five years’ experience working within sustainable development, comprising: thirteen years' experience of project administration and management; twelve years’ experience of research and development on insect diseases as crop protection tools in the tropics. Key expertise: project financial management, reporting and auditing procedures, client liaison, biopesticide development. Field experience in Kenya, Tanzania, Benin, India, Ghana, Thailand and Bolivia. Role in the African cassava whitefly: outbreak causes and sustainable solutions project: Project Manager. Mark will answer directly to the Project Director and has overall responsibility for the management of financial and administrative implementation of the project. With assistance from NRI/UoG administrative unit, he will ensure administrative and financial management systems for the project as a whole and the sub-grants. He will be responsible for financial reporting to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
